When you get a call asking if you're interested in shooting hundreds of feet in the air, on top of the most iconic building in Downtown Grand Rapids, MI. you, or well, I jumped at the opportunity. Add in Iron Workers, heavy equipment and grinding metal, and it's a dream shoot, if you ask me.

I was commissioned to document the dismantling of a crane that has been part of the Grand Rapids skyline for the past three years. Mounted on top of the Amway Grand Plaza, the crane was used for renovations and updates on this iconic skyscraper.
